Mont Rose Solidaire 2025 – 4,215 m of fraternity
A human and inclusive adventure: four sibling duos (able-bodied / living with a disability) climbed a 4,215-meter summit together. An expedition symbolizing solidarity, self-transcendence, and inclusion.
I dreamed of climbing a 4,000 m peak, and more specifically Mont Blanc. But I didn’t want to live this adventure alone, because true joy is shared. I talked about it with Adrien, my twin brother. He looked at me, a bit shocked, and said: “Are you serious? You’re crazy… but ok, I’m in!”
Adrien has always been passionate about skiing, so I knew this challenge would excite him. But at that time, he was going through a difficult period, full of doubts and questions about his disability, his worth, and what he could still achieve. I felt this project could help him regain faith in himself, in life, and in his dreams.
After discussing with Claude-Alain, his ski partner for 25 years and founder of Handiconcept, we realized Mont Blanc was too complex in terms of safety. We then turned to Pyramide Vincent, a peak in the Mont Rose massif, still over 4,200 meters but more technically accessible.
Then we had to build the rope team. And for Adrien, I wanted the best team possible. I brought together a golden team made up of lifelong friends and three close-knit sibling pairs: Charles & Augustin, Charles & Louis, Maxime & Arthur. A true extended family, united by the desire to bring Adrien to the top. And we did it, together.
There is clearly a before and an after. Adrien came back transformed: more alive, more confident, more free. Today he is gaining independence and believing in his dreams. This project was a rope team of resilience and rebirth. For him. For all of us.
